Many of us use cloud storage so that we can store our information and be able to easily share it with others whether it be picture, videos, or documents. In this lesson I learned that with cloud storage we are saving things to the cloud instead of our local storage device. This storage option essentially allows us to manage our information anywhere we have access to a computer whether it is our personal one or not as long as you have your login information for whatever cloud storage you are trying to access.
Cloud Storage is supposed to be the future. All the major companies are investing in it from Amazon to Apple and Microsoft.

I'm pretty sure 2.3.7 Cloud Storage would have mentioned this ^_^
I use OneDrive, which is a form of cloud storage. I use it to store my homework to access it at work or on my laptop. Many other applications are converting to cloud storage, eliminating the need for data service infrastructures.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I love OneDrive and iCloud is that they are both very convenient. Any work and documents that are under the same email can be retrieved by other devices. This is definitely the most useful task I use these systems for.

ReplyDeleteI'm so used to having the accessibility in my everyday life that I forget how amazing Cloud storage actually works.
ReplyDeleteCloud storage is the best. I lost all of my kid's baby pictures from an old phone because it wasn't backed. The phone broke and only the backed photos were saved. I learned the hard way.
ReplyDeleteCloud storage, I would say, is definitely one of the better things to have come from innovation in our modern times. The amount of information we are able to access and store has vastly been expanded. Long gone are the days where we would be afraid of losing files at a moment's notice. Cloud storage has been integrated into our lives so well, that it is hard to believe there was a time before it at times.
